10th Annual Handlebars and Hot Rods Poker Run

We are excited to announce that the 10th Annual Handlebars & Hot Rods Poker Run and Show for Cancer Sucks Inc will be held on May 11th, 2013 in The Brady District of Tulsa. This event is planned and executed by local volunteers, under the direction of Cancer Sucks Event Coordinators. Car clubs and motorcycle groups from a five state area will be invited to be a part of this event by participating in the “Cruise In” on Main Street and/or The Poker Run that will cover 100 miles around the Tulsa area. A full day of vendors, custom cars & motorcycles will be topped off with a CANCER SUCKS Concert inside the Cain’s Ballroom to make Mother’s Day Weekend very entertaining for all.

The poker run participants will begin at Myers-Duren Harley-Davidson at 9am, Saturday, and will travel to different stops around the Tulsa area to draw cards as they try to win over $1000.00 in cash and prizes! At the end of the run, they will turn their score cards in at The Cain’s Ballroom and join the Hot Rods on display.

Following the end of the poker run festivities we will open the doors to the Cains Ballroom to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Handlebars and Hot Rods Poker Run. We will have 5 bands on site and poker run participants will be the only ones allowed to purchase discounted tickets for the concert. Three local bands will join POP EVIL and TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION for a HUGE party. All proceeds from this event will be donated to cancer research.

We ask that you join us, along with Myers-Duren Harley Davidson, KMOD Radio, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in making this event a success.

Thank you for supporting Cancer Sucks!
