LeeBoy Joins Impressive List of Sponsors For X-DRL 2013 Season

Impressed by the locations and tracks that make up the X-treme Drag Racing League’s (X-DRL) debut season, LeeBoy has signed on as an official sponsor for 2013.

The X-DRL announced the new partnership with LeeBoy, adding further momentum to the 2013 campaign, which kicks off on April 6-7 with the X-DRL Spring Nationals at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park and includes nine stops at many of the nation’s most prestigious tracks.

“The tracks the X-DRL will visit in 2013 lined up great with our customer base and our dealers. We’re excited to sponsor the X-DRL and we think it’s going to be a great season,” LeeBoy General Sales Manager of North America Bryce Davis said.

“We typically bring 100-plus customers to a race, and it’s a fun, relaxing day and a great atmosphere. It’s always a lot of fun for us and our customers.”

Of course, LeeBoy is a recognizable name in drag racing because of a17-year sponsorship with doorslammer world champion Quain Stott.

That association will continue in 2013, as Stott will race the full nine-race schedule with the X-DRL in the Pro X-treme class.

“Quain and his team are just super ambassadors for LeeBoy and they do an incredible job with all of our customers,” Davis said. “They are just tremendous with letting everyone know about the race experience.

“Quain really is part of the LeeBoy team. Everybody in our organization knows Quain. He makes them feel welcome at the races and we could not have picked a better ambassador for LeeBoy. He’s a great racer and a great human being.”

Said Stott: “I’m really thrilled to be with LeeBoy for another year. They’ve always given me tremendous support and I’m really looking forward to the 2013 X-DRL season. They’re going to a lot of great facilities and that’s always exciting.”
