Pre-Registration For X-DRL Individual Races Begins March 8 For 2013 Season

The new X-treme Drag Racing League (X-DRL) announced on Thursday that individual race pre-registration program for the upcoming 2013 season begins on Friday and can be done online at X-DRL.com. You can pre-register for single or multiple races.

Drivers who pre-register can save time by going to the pre-registration window at the registration trailer and avoid long lines. For each event, the pre-registration process will close on the Sunday before the race. The 2013 X-DRL season begins on April 6-7 with the X-DRL Spring Nationals at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park and features nine stops at many of the nation’s most prestigious tracks.

Registrations fees are $350 for professional classes and $250 for Mickey Thompson Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Pro Junior Dragster and Supercar Showdown. The fee includes competitor tech card, competitor pit parking decal and a restricted-area arm band for the driver.

Racers are required to have a valid NHRA or IHRA license. If they do not have a license, they can apply for an X-DRL license by downloading Medical/Physical form (exam issued within last 365 days) and the X-DRL Competition License form under the “Competition” tab at X-DRL.com. LICENSING RUNS WILL BE REQUIRED AS WELL AS CHASSIS CERTIFICATION.

Crew members can also pre-reigster for $40/event for all classes and will receive a restricted area arm band.

Racers and crew members are also required to have an X-DRL membership, which is good for a year and is available in the following levels:

An added benefit for Top Sportsman, Top Dragster and Supercar Showdown competitors who pre-register is the opportunity to waive the membership requirement and pay an additional $20 charge to the standard fees. For drivers, that would make the fee $260 and crew members would be $60.
