QuainOne of the biggest names in doorslammer racing is getting ready to compete, as Quain Stott Drag Racing is currently preparing for the upcoming 2013 racing season. Stott, considered one of the pioneers in Pro Modified racing and a current star in the Pro X-treme scene, is also excited to have LeeBoy back on board for the 2013 season, which will mark the 17th consecutive year LeeBoy and Stott have worked together.

In related news, race fans can expect some big news regarding LeeBoy and the X-DRL in the coming days, adding more momentum to the X-DRL debut season in 2013, which kicks off with the X-DRL Spring Nationals on April 6-7 at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park.

LeeBoy’s continued support for Stott’s team, even in this tough economy, speaks volumes about the company’s dedication to Quain and the sport of drag racing, including the new X-DRL.
“We will continue to work hard in making LeeBoy a proud sponsor of our team as we get ready for 2013,” Stott said.

The 2012 season ended on a low note for the LeeBoy team when Stott expired both of his power plants at the final two races. Before that, Stott advanced to a finals at zMAX Dragway, finishing eighth in the Pro Extreme points standings and taking a big step forward after a frustration-filled 2011 season.

The engine failures certainly weren’t ideal, but the timing was good, as it has allowed Stott to regroup over the winter. With his power plants repaired, and the chassis prepped, it’s full steam ahead into 2013 for Stott.

Q.S.D.R. will also be as interactive as ever with its large fanbase during the 2013 season. It plans on re-introducing its live video feeds, Facebook fan page interaction and much more, and the X-DRL will certainly feature Stott throughout the 2013 campain in Pro X-treme as Stott and LeeBoy remain fan favorites when it comes to doorslammer racing.

Q.S.D.R. partners with high performance companies like LeeBoy Equipment, Hoosier racing tires, NGK Sparkplugs, Auto Meter, Amalie Oil, Fulton racing Engines, and Spartan Crankshafts.
