Of course, the X-DRL will hold its first-ever event on Saturday and Sunday at the track, but the buzz and anticipation continues to build for the eighth-mile drag racing league, especially in the Tulsa area.
X-DRL Co-Owner Jeff Mitchell and Tulsa Raceway Park Co-Owner and X-DRL racer Keith Haney both appeared on the Tulsa FOX 23 Great Day Green Country show to promote the show.

The duo got prime placement and FOX went all-out in promoting the show, also teasing a live appearance later in the weekend.

The appearance was done in conjunction with Cancer Sucks!, Inc, which was previously announced as the designated charity for the 2013 X-DRL season. Cancer Sucks! Inc was also in attendance at the event, which was really well-received by all parties.

It meant a great deal to the patients, but just as much to the X-DRL drivers who made the appearance and got to visit with the patients.

Several radio stations and other local media will also be appearing at this weekend’s Spring Nationals in Tulsa, as the X-DRL is ready to start its inaugural season in fine fashion.
