The eighth-mile sanctioning body officially announced its event payouts on Saturday, and $912,600 in event purses will be awarded during its debut 2013 season.

The 2013 season for the X-DRL, a premier eighth-mile drag racing league, spans nine events at many of the nation’s most prestigious tracks and begins on April 6-7 in Tulsa.
In all, more than $101,000 in event prize money will be up for grabs at every race.
The X-DRL will also release additional purse information for its traditional championship points series in the coming days.
The world championship will go to the competitor recording the most points throughout the 9-race series in each professional class (Pro X-treme, Pro Nitrous, Pro Turbo, X-treme Pro Stock, X-treme Pro Modified, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Supercar Showdown and Pro Junior Dragster).
The points fund will pay the top 10 competitors in the points standings in each class at the conclusion of the 2013. The final 2013 event during the X-DRL’s inaugural season takes place Oct. 25-26 at the state-of-the-art zMAX Dragway in Charlotte.
Payouts for the Pro X-treme, Pro Nitrous, Pro Turbo and X-treme Pro Stock class will be $17,000 at each event, with the winner earning $6,000 at every race in those classes. Winners in the X-treme Pro Mod will earn $5,000, while the victors in Top Dragster and Top Sportsman classes will all be awarded $2,500 at each action-packed X-DRL race. The winner in both the Supercar Showdown and Pro Junior Dragster is set to earn $1,250 at every event.
